Since its inception, the Firestone Master Contractor program has recognized outstanding contractors who have been responsible for installing billions of square feet of warranted Firestone Roofing Systems. High quality workmanship and a commitment to long-term roofing system performance are the attributes of a Firestone Master Contractor.
All Firestone Red Shield™ licensed contractors are automatically eligible for the Master Contractor Program and throughout the year, contractors earn quality points for the installation of Firestone RubberGard™ EPDM, UltraPly™ TPO, Asphalt and Metal Roofing Systems.
Changes to the Master Contractor Program in 2017
Four Level of Recognition
In 2017 the Master Contractor program, Firestone will recognize four levels of Master Contractors, each offering new rewards and benefits. Download the 2017 Master Contractor Brochure to learn more about the new program and rewards.
More Exclusive – More Meaningful
The number of Master Contractors will be reduced from 250, to 175, making this designation more exclusive and meaningful in the industry. Achieving Master Contractor status will rank you among the most elite contractors in North America.
Receive Master Contractor Quality Points for Discretionary ISO
Previously only Red Shield Warranted jobs were eligible to earn quality points, but starting in 2017, contractors will also earn points for the use of Discretionary ISO.
In order to reward our contractors who choose to use Firestone brand polyiso products in non-warranted roofing assemblies, or under a competitor’s material, Firestone has extended the Master Contractor program to include these transactions. Firestone will award one quality point per square foot of Firestone ISO used in these installations.

In addition, to qualify for Master Contractor status in 2017, it requires a Quality Incidence Rating (QIR) that does not exceed 2.5 times the average QIR for Red Shield Contractors.
